si Jacaranda

"Indahnya...", itu komentar pertama yg keluar ketika melihat si cantik untuk pertama kalinya. Unik dengan warna ungu seakan melambangkan logo universitas pilihanku. Aku menjulukinya unik karena bunga ini tumbuh dari pohon yg tinggi dan besar dengan cabang dan beranting2. Fenomena yg jarang ku saksikan (atau malah tidak pernah ya) di Indonesia. Sebatas pengetahuanku yang namanya bunga ya tumbuh di pohon kecil seperti pohon cabe :P. Setelah berkembang beberapa lama, dia akan menggugurkan bunga-bunganya di akhir musim semi. Jacaranda nan indah dengar cerita bunga khas Brisbane (ibukota state of Queensland, Australia). Apakah memang original dari benua ini atau sempat bertuan di negara lain, sayangnya aku belum sempat menyelidikinya.

Spring is Coming....

Flowers are blooming...that's the sign of the coming season. That's spring.
The flowers are beautiful and give us the feeling of happiness...y? because the mid semester break is coming too and the children's school term is over. We're on holiday for almost 2 weeks. But actually for me...not real holiday, because the next assignment will due soon hikksss. Anyway...I need my break after all the mid exams and those 'crazy' assignment hehehe. We planned to go to the flowers' festival in Toowoomba this Saturday (17/9/2011). There'll be a parade and many children's playground. I heard it wont big as in Pasadena, California though. I hope the children will be happy and I can get out and relax before going back to focus on my next assignment (due next Monday). Holiday...here we come ^__^

Hello bloggers...

Long time no see mates ^_^
Different kinda lingo yeah you got that rite mate

It's Oz english. We're actually in Oz now.
Which part? in Queensland State. It was a part of my dream to study abroad.
Now here we are in Brissy Boat hehehe. Actually I was prefer Japan as a place
to study my master.It was such a long long time ago. Before I was even entering
my bachelor degree, just as I was starting to work in DJP (tercintahh).
I was in love with Japan because of their culture, their languange, their manga n cartoon, their bushido spirit...all n everything about it.

Then, my plan change...I never ever thought Oz as my destination to further my study. After my family...my dream seems to lose its meaning if I don't include them in it rite guys? So Oz was really a logic place to be if you're studying with family.
First, location...location (ga nyambung, emang milih property! hahaha), it is relatively near to our country. It is an english speaking country which is very easy to learn the lingo for me familia compare to japanese (can u imagine...my family especially my husband...).

Alhamdulillah, we're here safe and sound. This is my third semester. So we're here for 2 years...this is the second one. I'm studying at University of Queensland. The best in Oz for research. Unfortunately, I'm not a research student. I'm a master (candidate) by coursework...double major between accounting and applied finance. All my family is here now. The time for us here...left almost a year. Now I remember I have a blog to take care of ^_^
Sorry for giving only a little attention to this blog.

Amalina Fair

Jum'at malam 5 Februari 2010 Bude Ani meminta mama untuk menemani Nazmi (TK B Amalina) untuk lomba mewarnai murid dan orangtua. Bude Ani ga bisa karena harus menemani Nasya (kakanya Nazmi di RS)yang sdg dirawat karena DB. Amalina Fair dimulai pukul 7.30 di SDIT Amalina hari Sabtu, 6 Februari 2010.
Seneng juga bisa nemenin Nazmi lomba, yg lebih seneng lagi Azka mo ikutan padahal waktu berangkat Azka dah pesen-pesen untuk ga diikutsertakan lomba dengan alasan males hehehe. Dasar bocah, ketika dia lihat jenis lomba mewarnainya sedikit beda dia langsung semangat. Emang apanya yang beda. Bedanya wadah mewarnainya bukan kertas tp stereofoam (yg biasa u/ mading gitu) trus memakai cat air bukan crayon. Lombanya sendiri ditujukan wat ajang bonding antara anak dan ortu serta kerjasama dengan teman, jadi pihak sekolah menyediakan perlengkapan yg diperlukan dgn cara dibagi per grup. Satu grup terdiri dari 4 org anak dan 4 ortu. Karena ga tau kami dari rumah memang tidak bawa perlengkapan apapun kecuali krayon. Untung ya disediain hehehe.
Seperti layaknya kebiasaan di Indonesia yang ngaret. Acara yg seharusnya pkl 07.30 jd mulur pkl 09.00. Untung selesai sebelum dzuhur. Akhirnya kami pulang.

Ditengah acara mewarnai tersebut sebenernya ada berita super gembira hehehe. Mama terima sms kalo mama kterima beasiswa ADS yuhuuu eh alhamdulillah. Tp kan juga ga yakin gitu...temen mama yg sms tau darimn sih?
Di rumah mama bertekad untuk kembali ke amalina untuk mengambil karya Azka n Nazmi setelah tentu aja meninabobokan Azka n Qorin lalu dilanjut ke warnet untuk liat situs ADS. eng ing eng...

Surprisenya ternyata double. Subhanallah

Pas kembali ke amalina ternyata acaranya sudah bubaran, untungnya masih ada beberapa petugas kebersihan dan para guru yang sedang rapat. Mengingat dah ga sabar pengen memajang karya Azka di rumah, kamipun (mama, papa n Qorin) nanya deh ke salah seorang ibu guru di sana. Setelah menunggu beberapa saat baru deh kejutan pertama tiba....karya Azka ternyata mendapat peringkat Juara Harapan I. Wahh padahal ikutannya ga niat alhamdulillah. Azka pastinya seneng banget (dia ditinggal karena masih bobo siang). Oh iya hadiahnya berupa piala (suiiiittt suiiit piala perdana wat Azka) dan buku tulis serta alat2 tulis.
Seperti yg ditekadkan seblumnya kami lgs menuju warnet di Arinda. Waahh kejutan euyy warnetnya tampak lebih canggih dgn cubicle2 dari kayu dan monitor pc yg dah flat kekna kemaren terakhir kesini pcnya masih berkonde hehehehe. Lalu surprise keduapun muncul ternyata yg terpampang disitus ADS itu bukan nama awardee tapi ID tiap aplicant yg sukses duhh luppaaaaaa berapa ya nomor ID-nya untung disebelah ID ada tgl lahir. Ehm berdasarkan dugaan kekna mama lulus hehehe trus diinget2 oh iya emang ID-nya sama. Terima kasih Allah atas rahmat n karuniamu.
Pas keluar dari warnet, mama sempet liat ruko sebelah...ternyata pantesan warnet ini lebih canggih hehehe wong warnet yg terakhir didatengin itu terletak di ruko sebelah wkakakaka. Pantesannn beda!!!
Setiba di rumah, Azka dah bangun n senengg banget dgn pialanya. Selamattt ya Azka. Nah karena penasaran mama liat dunk ID ADS mama di korespendensi IDP terakhir. Alhamdulillah sekali lagi ternyata itu memang mama :).
Sungguh surprise yg menyenangkan :)

DB

New year has already past a month ago. We face a new month...February 2010. At this same month a couple of years ago many things happened. I recalled our moved out from our rented house in this month at 2007 and then we were strike by flooding rushed in our new house. What a tragic event since Qorin at that time was just two months old. And she was just recovered from an illness. And the next month in March another sadness came, my husband was sicked because of mosquito's bite what we called here dengue fever.

I was at that time, kept asking myself what went wrong. And time passsed us by, and I almost forget what happened three years ago. Then I heard that my niece Nasya got DB too. She was only 9 years old, and now being hospitalised in Sari Asih. I hope she will recover soon and can go to school as usual.
I brought her comic books so she still can read like the way she used to be in her home.

Happy Birthday Dede

Today (30 December 2009) is my little cutie dede Qorin bd. Happy 3rd BD honey. We wish you all the best in your life. She knows exactly that she's going to be 3 years old today, but unfortunately she is not quite happy to receive any congratulations from us, but of course she likes the presents hehehe. Well I haven't bought a cake to celebrate her birthday coz I still go to the office today...ohhh ghossshh I wish this is a day off. But I promise to find something so she could blow up her candle :).

Tomorrow maybe I could download photos of her bd celebration, since my mom will also have her bd tommorow. December is a month full bd celebration in our family. At this same month we have Nazmi, Aufaa, Bude Ani, Qorin and Mbah Uti.
Nazmi and Aufaa were already celebrated their bd on December 20th, they invited all the children in our surroundings. It was a nice party and happy one. Well for Qorin, I may have a simple celebration and of course the most important thing is say our prayer together for Qorin. I think it is more valueable than any presents.
